Project Instructions – Heart Bottles

MATERIALS:

• Artminds  Fine, Large – 2 sided Glitter Stacker: Ruby
• Artminds Stacker Glitter – Sterling
• Vintage & Sparkle Glitter – Chantilly Lace (pink)
• Artminds Heart Gems
• (2) Heart shaped bottles
• Ribbon
• Heart shaped label or sticker
• Mod Podge
• E6000 glue
• Craft glue
• Craft paintbrush
• Beacon Glitter-It! Glue

STEPS:

1. Refer to project photo for instruction reference.
2. For pink bottle, use Beacon Glitter-It! Glue to glitter inside of bottle with Chantilly Lace glitter. For red bottle, use Beacon Glitter-It! Glue to glitter inside of bottle with large and fine Ruby glitter, following package directions. (Rinse bottle with vinegar and water, add enough glue to swirl around entire inside of bottle. Pour back excess glue. Using a funnel, add glitter.  Replace jar lid, shake, and remove excess glitter.
3. Using fingers or paintbrush, put glue on lid of bottles, add Sterling glitterfor pink bottle and Ruby for red bottle, let dry.
4. For pink bottle, glue heart shaped label to center using Mod Podge.  Apply another coat over top. After dry, trace heart with glue and Sterling glitter.
5. For red bottle, glue heart gems to front of bottle with E6000 glue.  Lie flat to dry.
6. Tie ribbon around mouth of red bottle.

 

 

 

Project Instructions – Sweet Candy Jar

MATERIALS:

• Artminds  Fine, Large – 2 sided Glitter Stacker: Ruby
• Artminds Stacker Glitter – Sterling
• One 7-inch tall glass candy jar
• Ribbon
• Craft glue
• Craft paintbrush
• Beacon Glitter-It! Glue

STEPS:

1. Refer to project photo for instruction reference.
2. Use Beacon Glitter-It! Glue to glitter inside of lid with large and fine Ruby glitter, following package directions.
3. Using fingers or paintbrush, put glue on knob of jar, add Sterling glitter, let dry.
4. Insert candy into jar!
5. Tie ribbon around mouth of jar.

 

 

Project Instructions – Tall Vases

Time to complete: 30 minutes

Messy Level (1-5): 3

MATERIALS:

• Artminds  Fine, Large – 2 sided Glitter Stacker: Crystal Diamond
• Double sided tape
• (2)  tall glass vases
• Glittered heart or embellishment
• Ribbon
• Craft glue
• Beacon Glitter-It! Glue

STEPS:

1. Refer to project photo for instruction reference.
2. Use Beacon Glitter-It! Glue to glitter inside of striped vase with large and fine Crystal Diamond glitter, following package directions. Use Beacon Glitter-It! Glue to glitter inside of second vase with fine Crystal Diamond glitter, following package directions.
3. Wrap double sided tape twice around striped vase to create stripes, remove paper from tape, add fine Crystal Diamond glitter.
4. Insert lollipops or flowers into vases.
5. Tie ribbon around mouth of second vase, glue heart to ribbon.
